Mike Mannering has over 30 years experience in the energy industry. In the early part of his career he worked for Shell International before joining Schlumberger in 1985. Mike was appointed Chairman of Schlumberger companies UK in 2001. He is currently President of Rig Management at Schlumberger with responsibility for the schlumberger fleet of drilling rigs. Simon Oliver

Non-Executive Director

Simon Oliver is the Non Executive Chairman of Dairy Crest Group PLC and Pi Capital Limited and has significant experience in the FMCG business including founding Mendip Foods Limited and chairing The Cheese Company (formerly Express Foods) MBO.

He is non executive director of several companies and is also on the Board of the Ambassador Theatre Group.

Stephen Brooke

Stephen Brooke is co-founder and Managing Partner of Swarraton Partners. Stephen has spent his career in venture capital, working with companies across numerous industries in the UK, US and South Africa. Prior to founding Swarraton, he worked at IP Group plc, where he was Director of Business Development and on the company’s main board, and Columbia University Science and Technology Ventures in New York.

Swarraton Partners is a venture capital firm investing in European early stage technology companies based on world class IP.

Carole Piwnica

Carole Piwnica, a member of the New York and Paris bars, is a director of Naxos UK, making investments in Europe and the United States. She is a non executive director of several companies, including, Aviva, Dairy Crest and Toepfer International. Carole is also a member of the Biotech Advisory Board of Monsanto and was formerly vice chairman of Tate & Lyle
