Chris Saunders
Chief Executive Officer
Chris is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Navetas. He has over 13 years experience in Energy Management having worked for Actaris Metering Systems, formerly Schlumberger, the global leader in design, manufacture and supply of electricity, gas, water and heat meters and related systems and services.
His roles included Managing Director of the Electricity Metering and Systems Division, and prior to that Managing Director of Actaris Gas Metering Division. He is past President and now Director of BEAMA, the British Electrotechnical and Allied Manufacturers Association.

Erika Emeny
Chief Financial Officer
Qualifying in 2001 as an accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Erika has over 15 years experience in the utilities and manufacturing industry.
Her financial roles have included, Financial Management, Cost Accounting, Group Consolidations, Financial Projects and UK Financial Controller within a manufacturing, service and R&D environment. Incorporating working capital management, investment appraisals, payroll and pensions management, budgetary and forecasting, treasury and multi-currency management, reporting and systems integrations.
More recently as Commercial Manager and Site Manager in charge of Human Resources, Admin and Health & Safety. Erika managed the Sales & Marketing Team and a business to business call centre for prepayment metering data management services to four major utilities.
In her role Erika will manage all financial management issues related to Navetas and ISE.

Chris Lemondine-Martin
Director of Systems
A Chartered Electrical Power Engineer for over 20 years, Chris has over 15 years experience working in numerous Electricity Utilities and a further 12 years serving the Utility industry with metering products, metering IT systems and managed services whilst working for Itron Inc, the world’s largest metering supplier, formerly Actaris Metering Systems and Schlumberger.
His utility roles have included Distribution Network Management of overhead and underground networks, Metering Field Resource Management, Contact Centre Back Office Management and HQ roles in Metering evaluation and deployment, and Distribution Network Equipment Technical Development and Design.
Whilst at Itron, Chris held numerous Product and Commercial Sales Roles focusing mainly on the UK market before undertaking Project and Programme Management assignments, culminating in a senior role managing the Global Metering Systems Development Team. More notably, Chris was the inspiration behind and creator of a B2B Managed Service that now serves many of the major UK utilities and the Development Director of in Home Prepayment devices.
In his role Chris will manage the system development, deployment and operational aspects of large scale utility systems.

Chris Shelley
Chief Operating Officer
Chris is co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Navetas. He has over 15 years experience in Energy Management having worked for Itron Inc, the world's largest metering supplier, formerly Actaris Metering Systems and Schlumberger.
His roles included Systems and Services Business Manager, General Manager of Actaris UK operations and Research and Development Manager. In his R&D role, he has been involved in all types of metering, including Electricity, Gas and Water, and on products ranging from basic functionality through to complex smart meters along with the IT systems that sit behind them.

Paul Rowe
Chief Technology Officer
Paul has over 20 years experience in the metering manufacturing industry. Prior to joining Navetas, Paul worked at Actaris Metering Systems - the world's largest metering supplier as the Engineering Manager working on research and development projects, including designing new smart meters.
Prior to this, Paul worked as a senior test engineer for Agilent Semi Conductor and for Schlumberger where Paul designed several bespoke items of test equipment and wrote the associated software to control them.

Nick Wellington
Strategic Communications
Nick has over 10 years experience in the Public Affairs and Communications industry. Nick has provided strategic communications advice to household names such as British Airways, Granada TV, Prudential, Dixons Group, Sainsbury's and John Lewis Group on issues such as UK energy issues, UK competition policy, CSR policy and transport issues.
Prior to that Nick worked for 10 years at the Department of Trade and Industry (now BERR) including working for 2 years as Private Secretary to the then Secretary of State for Trade and Industry Stephen Byers MP.
