The Navetas In-Home LCD Display is a component part of the Navetas Energy Monitor and is compatible with the Navetas Smart Hub.
The LCD display receives data from these devices via Zigbee wireless communications.
The LCD display operates completely independently providing convenient and easily accessible energy consumption information to the consumer, complimenting the Navetas online energy management services and via mobile phone applications.
The LCD display provides 'at a glance' energy consumption information to consumers, using speedo dials with traffic light colour scaling to identify high and low instantaneous consumption. Energy consumption, cost and carbon emissions data can also be viewed in daily, weekly and monthly time periods. The touch screen display enables consumers to select appliance groups such as lighting, heating, electric shower etc, to view and manage specific categories of energy usage.
The LCD display is more than just a display, it is also an application to enable the consumer to manage their energy consumption effectively and reduce usage to make genuine savings on energy bills. By entering the 'savings' mode, the consumer can determine the percentage target level of savings against their average consumption for a specific time period. The display will show cumulative usage through the set period and warn you by total and appliance category when you reach your target through traffic light colour scaling.
The LCD display makes it easy for consumers to see where their energy is used around the home and how lifestyle changes can make real savings in terms of energy usage, energy cost and carbon footprint.
