The Navetas Smart Hub acts as an intelligent energy data collection device that is situated in the home. Its prime purpose is to gather consumption and status information from a number of utility metering devices and deliver data collected back to the consumer in a readily understood format or to provide billing information to the relevant utility. The Navetas Smart Hub complies with existing smart metering standards and specifications.
The Smart Hub can be fitted with standard single phase electricity meters and can be adapted to work with three phase electricity meters as required.
Available as an option, the Smart Hub is Powered by ISE enabling in home appliance monitoring without the need for additional sensors to be installed around the home. Powered by ISE integrated into the Navetas Smart Hub delivers energy suppliers with the ability to provide accurate itemised bills to their customers, a major advancement over existing estimated billing service levels.
Appliance consumption data can also be made available to the user in real time, enabling consumers to understand their energy consumption around the home, empowering consumers to take control of their consumption and to make informed decisions from both a cost and environmental perspective Powered by ISE appliance disaggregation is self learning and does not require user intervention to identify appliances. The technology monitors in home appliance activity for a period of time, the learning period which is no longer than a few days and then automatically disaggregates the energy consumption by the appliances in the home in real time.
The Navetas Smart Hub has all the functionality of a standard smart meter so can support credit, prepayment and Pay as You Go functionality depending on how the consumer would like to pay for their energy.
